This Is About Roomate Conflicts and What You Can Do To Avoid Them.

Photo is mine.
Here we are, the three best friends any person can have, my roommates! Kerrice, Alexis, and I live in a beautiful home in the historic part of Topeka. Our cat Melvin is in my loving arms and he is okay, he's just a little squeamish and often can be found sleeping. In today's blog post I will be sharing some tips and tricks you need to have to have the best roommate experience, even with people who you are forced to lice with at random.
1. Communication.
The key to problem-solving is to make sure you have expressed how you feel about. If you are living with people you have to make sure you have plenty of opportunities to tell each other you are having people over, you need the music to be turned down, or that the bills are due. One small trick is to have a group chat with everyone living in the house.
2. Rules
When you first move in with people it is extremely helpful and useful to create a rule list all who live in are expected to follow just to create an atmosphere of respect and peace. These rules can look like no loud music past midnight because we all have to be up in the morning. Give everyone who lives in the house a heads up when a large group of people is coming over, just to be polite. Rules can be arranged together, and so when there are problems in the future you can reference the rulebook and you'll make sure you have the rules to reference as a document all agreed to!
3. Time Alone
Time alone is so crucial to relationships, so make sure you find some time to be alone. This can even include going home for breaks or spending the night at a friends house. Time away from your home with people can help you appreciate them, and also let you just have peace.
These three simple tips can have the potential to really turn your bad roommate situation around for the better. I wanted to make them streamlined and simple.
